The Finnish Economic Association is a scholarly organisation whose purpose is to support economic research in Finland, disseminate information about economic issues to wider public and to promote economic policy debate in Finland.
The Association organises the Annual Meeting of the Finnish Economic Association, Kansantaloustieteen päivät, which is the largest annual economic conference in Finland. The conference takes typically place in February and the call for papers is distributed in the preceding Autumn.
In addition, the Association publishes two economic journals. Journal of the Finnish Economic Association (JFEA) is an open-access biannual peer-reviewed scientific publication. Kansantaloudellinen aikakauskirja (KAK) is a Finnish language journal and aimed at a more general audience. KAK is published four times a year and features expert commentary on economics and economic policy.
